Abstract

Background: The development is a very decisive phase for the baby's life. Immunization and other supporting factors that were given to the maximum will make a child becomes healthy. The growth and development will be optimal given basic immunization are given in full and on time. The basic immunization for BCG, DPT, Polio, Hepatitis B, Measles. The objective of this study was to find out the correlation between Basic Immunization with the Development of a 12-Month Old Child at the Naga Swidak Public Health Center in Palembang 2019. This study was quantitative research by using a cross-sectional design, the sampling technique used was the accidental sample for mothers who had babies age 12 months in Naga Swidak Public Health Center Palembang 2019 with 34 respondents. The results showed that there was a correlation between basic immunization and the development of a 12-month-old baby, p-value = 0.008. The conclusion was that there was a correlation between basic immunization and the development of a 12-month-old baby at the Naga Swidak Public Health Center in Palembang 2019.
