Abstract

ABSTRACT


Background: Hospitals as agencies engaged in services are required to provide the best service, the increasing public demands for the quality of health services, the function of services needs to be improved to provide satisfaction to patients. Based on the initial survey that researchers conducted at RSUD Sumberrejo by looking at secondary data from the hospital, it was found that over the past three years the public satisfaction index at RSUD Sumberrejo has fluctuated, besides that the interview results show that patients feel confused when they first come to the hospital due to the lack of directions, other patients also mentioned that the doctor's visite hours are sometimes late until the afternoon. Purpose: analyze the effect of service quality on patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of RSUD Sumberrejo. Methods: The design of this study is quantitative research using the Cross Sectional approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, with a sample of 96 inpatients. Data collection was carried out by questionnaires, and analyzed using ordinal logistic regression. Results: The results shows that Nagelkerke's value is 0.343, which means that 34.3% of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of RSUD Sumberrejo is influenced by the quality of service. Conclusion: There is an effect of service quality on patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of RSUD Sumberrejo. Bases on this, it is expected that the hospital can maintain and improve the quality of service so that patient satisfaction is maximized.
