%A Kurniawati, Iin Rahayu %D 2022 %T Pengaruh Sistem Pengarsipan Surat Berbasis Microsoft Access Terhadap Efektivitas Pencarian Surat Di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Babat Lamongan %K %X ABSTRACT Background : In the current era of globalization, the need for information is getting higher and continues to grow so that several agencies and even hospitals have made changes such as a computerized system that can compete and improve quality, one of which is by carrying out letter archiving activities. The purpose of archives is to provide data and information quickly and precisely when needed. Subjects and Methods : The research design uses an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test group design for search effectiveness and the waterfall method for system design. The sampling technique used was a total sampling of 95 samples for search effectiveness and purposive sampling of 1 sample for the design of the system. The analysis prerequisite test is the Wilcoxon test. Results : The results showed that the effectiveness of the search before the Ms.Access-based letter archiving management survey was carried out was still not good at 100% with ineffective quality on the search speed indicator. The effectiveness after the mail archiving survey based on Ms. Access was good at 100%. Meanwhile, from the results of the Wilcoxon test, it was found that there was an influence of the Microsoft Access-based letter filing system on the effectiveness of searching letters at Muhammadiyah Babat Lamongan Hospital, with a correlation coefficient of -9.747b with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05) Conclusion : Seeing the results of this study, the hospital immediately archived, searched and found letters using the application to make it faster and easier.   Keywords : Ms.Access-based mail management application, survey of the effectiveness of mail search in Administration and General Affairs. %U https://e-journal.stikesmuhbojonegoro.ac.id/index.php/JHS/article/view/350 %J Jurnal Hospital Science %0 Journal Article %P 32-43%V 5 %N 1 %@ 2598-0122 %8 2022-04-25
