Tinjauan Keakuratan Kodefikasi Diabetes Mellitus Pasien Rawat Inap BPJS Di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Babat Kabupaten Lamongan

Abstract

Background: In desease kodificaton it is necessary to have an accurate code, because errors in codifination can affect the result of reporting mordibity, mortality, and hospital statistisc. Based on preliminary survey at the Muhammadiyah Babat Hospital, Lamongan Regency, there were still 4 inaccurate medical record documents from 10 medical record documents with a diagnosi of Diabetes Mellitus in BPJS inpatients which were taken randomly. Research Objectives: To review the accuracy the Diabetes Mellitus codification of BPJS inpatients at the Muhammadiyah Babat Hospital, Lamongan Regency. Research Methods: This studi uses a descriptive type of research, with a retrospective approach. The research population, namely the medical record documents of BPJS inpatients in 2018, amounted to 155 medical record documents with a research sampel of 61 medical record documents. Data collection methods used are observation and interview. Research Result:The result showed that the accuracy of the Diabetes Mellitus codification of BPJS inpatients at the Muhamadiyah Babat Hospital, Lamongan Regency, of 61 medical record documents, there were 36 documents (59,01%) which were accurate, while the inaccurate ones were 25 documents (40,99%). One of the factors that cause code not careful enough to determine the fourth character code and complete the asterisk dagger code. Conclution:From the result of these percentages, it is kwon that the level of accuracy of the Diabetes Mellitus codification of BPJS at the Muhammadiyah Babat Hospital, Lamongan Regency is not yet good, so it needs to be improved so that the results obtained are accurate and optimal for hospital reporting.
