Abstract

Background: One of the activities carried out in the medical record unit in the management system is the storage of medical record files Storage of medien record files is very important to be done in a health care institution because it can simplify and speed up the recovery of medical record files stored in storage racks. easily retrieve from storage, easy return, protect medical recoril files from the danger of theft, physical damage, chemistry, and biology in the implementation of storing medical record files at the Kapas Health Center. Purpose: Identifying the effect of Tracer design on the storage of outpatient Puskesmas Kapas outpatient medical record files. Method: This study uses a case study descriptive research that defines a phenomenon as it is. Result: P_value (Asymp.Sig) 0,000 a 0,05 which means that use of exit instructions (tracer) give effect or significant changes to the quality of managing medical record files at the Kapas Health Center. Conclusion: There is an significant in the use of exit instructions (tracer) can improve the assessment of the quality of management of outpatient medical record files at the Kapas Health Center
