Tinjauan Pelaksanaan Retensi Dan Pemusnahan Berkas Rekam Medis Di Puskesmas Kapas

Abstract

Background: The retention and annihilation process is still foreign to the Puskesmas especially in the Puskesmas Kapas, because from the interviews the researchers conducted with the head of the Puskesmas there was the fact that the Puskesmas did not know what the retention and destruction of medical records were, even though the retention and destruction process was an important part of realize a good and correct management system for medical record files to support the effectiveness of services fro patients. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to Learn about factors influence the implementation of the retention and destruction process at the Kapas Health Center. Method: The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Results: From this study it was found that Kapas Public Health Center had carried out retention and destruction in 1991 and the infrastructure facilities available at Kapas Public Health Center were complete. Conclusion: In the Puskesmas Kapas the facilities and infrastructure available are adequate but not supported by competent human resources in their field.
