Abstract

ABSTRACT


Background: The BOR rate fluctuates from year to year and the results of the preliminary survey of inpatient satisfaction that have not reached the standard, it can be predicted that there is relevance between the level of patient satisfaction with the quality of inpatient services which can influence intention to return to the Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital Sumberrejo Bojonegoro Regency. So that the analysis of the quality of inpatient services needs to be done with the hope that the existing gaps can be minimized so that ultimately the hospital can provide quality services while meeting patient expectations and satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the quality of inpatient services on the intention to revisit inpatients at the Muhammadiyah Sumberrejo Islamic Hospital, Bojonegoro Regency.


Research Method: The design of this study is an observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all inpatients at the Muhammadiyah Sumberrejo Islamic Hospital, Bojonegoro Regency, with a sample taken of 89 respondents in May-June 2019. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The prerequisite analysis test is a simple logistic regression test.


Research Results: The quality of inpatient services at the Muhammadiyah Sumberrejo Islamic Hospital in Bojonegoro Regency is still not good at 55%. Most of the interest in visiting inpatients at the Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, is 56.2%. There is an influence of the quality of inpatient services on the intention to return inpatients at the Muhammadiyah Sumberrejo Islamic Hospital, Bojonegoro Regency (OR= 6.89; 95% CI: 2.62 to 18.14; sig: 0.000)


Conclusion: Seeing the results of this study, it is necessary to improve the quality of inpatient services so that they can meet patient expectations so that patients continue to choose inpatient services at the Muhammadiyah Sumberrejo Islamic Hospital, Bojonegoro Regency.
