Abstract

ABSTRACT


Background: Hospital administration is the systematic preparation and recording of data and information both internally and externally with the intention of providing information and facilitating retrieval, either partially or completely. Hospital administrative activities consist of a series of activities which include receiving, recording, classifying, processing, storing, typing, duplicating, sending data and information in writing, staffing. In addition to other activities such as writing correspondence, reporting, implementing and evaluating activities to see whether the plans that have been prepared can be achieved or not by the organization. At PKU Muhammadiyah Cepu Hospital there is a problem regarding delays in collecting monthly reports, so that it can hinder achieving planning goals or hospital targets every month. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of structural employee performance on the timeliness of monthly report submission at PKU Muhammadiyah Cepu Hospital, Blora Regency.


Research Subjects and Methods: The research design is a non-experimental study with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all structural employees of the PKU Muhammadiyah Cepu Hospital, with a sample of 30 respondents. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The prerequisite analysis test is a simple logistic regression test.


Research Results: Structural employee performance at PKU Muhammadiyah Cepu Hospital, Blora Regency, is said to be good, namely 73.5%. The timeliness of collecting monthly reports at the PKU Muhammadiyah Cepu Hospital, Blora Regency, was quite orderly, namely 73.5%. There is an influence of structural employee performance on the timeliness of monthly reports at PKU Muhammadiyah Cepu Hospital, Blora Regency (OR= 14.6; 95% CI: 2.33 to 92.10; sig: 0.004)


Conclusion: Seeing the results of this study, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the performance of structural employees so that the timely collection of monthly reports is maintained.
