Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kejadian Gizi Buruk Dan Gizi Kurang Pada Balita Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sumberejo

Abstract

Background: Toddlers are the age group who most often suffer from malnutrition and malnutrition. Malnutrition can inhibit physical, mental or thinking abilities. The community will consider it important to fulfill nutrition for under-fives who are still lacking and toddlers are still often not prioritized in terms of eating.


Method: : Type of analytic observational study with cross sectional research design. Sample of research were 86 respondents, taken by proportional random sampling technique taken from 13 villages. Analysis is univariate and bivariate. The statistical test used chi square test with a 95% confidence level,


Result: The results showed no relationship (p> 0.05) between maternal knowledge about nutrition (p value = 0.782), feeding parenting (p value = 0.670), and maternal personal hygine (p value = 0.609).


Conclusion: In order to better improve existing health services and influence nutritional intake of children and maintain personal hygiene to prevent infectious diseases in children.
