Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Tempat Tidur Berdasarkan Grafik Barber Johnson di RSU Muhammadiyah Babat Tahun 2021 - 2022

Abstract

Background: Efficiency is a measurement indicator that can be used as an assessment of a hospital's performance in achieving optimal quality of service at the hospital. The indicator parameters used to determine the level of efficiency of service quality in hospitals consist of four parameters, including BOR (Bed Occupancy Ratio), AvLOS (Average Length of Stay), TOI (Turn Over Interval) and BTO (Bed Turn Over). Muhammadiyah Babat General Hospital is aware of the indicators for inpatient services, but has not yet created a graph to determine the level of utilization, quality and efficiency of inpatient services in a certain period. Methods: The research method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation studies. Results: The results of calculations that researchers have carried out show that the four indicators of bed use at the Muhammadiyah Babat General Hospital do not meet the standards of the Ministry of Health. This is illustrated by the Barber Johnson graph which produces meeting points that are outside the efficiency area based on the Barber Johnson rule. Conclusions: The calculation of the efficiency of bed use at the Muhammadiyah Babat General Hospital for 2021 – 2022 is not yet efficient according to Ministry of Health standards.
