Pemberian Daun Katuk Sebagai Tanaman Pelancar ASI Pada Ibu Menyusui Balita Usia 0-23,9 Bulan Di Desa Jatiblimbing Kecamatan Dander
Abstract
Exclusive breastfeeding can reduce the risk of infant death because the colostrum is rich in antibodies. The protein content in breast milk is useful for increasing the body's resistance and works by killing germs in high quantities. Katuk leaves can be used by breastfeeding mothers to increase breast milk production. Katuk leaves have unique properties, namely sweetness, cooling and cleansing the blood, as well as antipyretic and lactagogue properties. It is hoped that this program can help breastfeeding mothers consume katuk plants so that breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers can increase. The data collection technique used the Incidental Sampling method with 30 respondents. This activity is carried out by giving katuk plants to breastfeeding mothers, interspersed with providing brief education about katuk leaves. A total of 30 breastfeeding mothers experienced increased knowledge about katuk plants to increase breast milk production, and there were 22 breastfeeding mothers who planted and cared for katuk leaves for consumption
