Abstract

Title : The Effect of Effective Communication on the Quality of Service at RSU Muhammadiyah Babat. Background: Based on preliminary studies conducted by researchers, it is known that communication between patients and health workers is less than optimal, if not immediately corrected will cause patient dissatisfaction for that effective communication is needed to improve the quality of service. Objective: Analyze the effect of effective communication with service quality in the laboratory installation of RSU Muhammadiyah Babat. Research method: Quantitative research design1analytic with cross sectional approach. The technique uses incidental sampling, with1study sample totaling 90 patients. Data collection 1was done with a closed questionnaire, and analyzed1using chi squar test. The results of the study: It can be seen from the results of the Chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.004, using an alpha of 0.05 then the value of p-value or sig. < 0.05 or obtained a value of χ 2 count of 8.101 > χ 2 table of 3.84146. This, enough data to receive H1. It means that H0 is rejected. Conclusion: communication has1strong influence on service quality. This, enough data to receive H1. This means that H0 is rejected, so there is an effect of effective communication with the quality of service at RSU Muhmmadiyah Babat.
