Hubungan antara Pemilahan Limbah Medis dengan Environmental Management Accounting di Klinik Rawat Inap Karunia Sumberrejo Bojonegoro

Abstract

Background : During the clinic's activities, both medical and non-medical waste are generated. Based on the preliminary study conducted by the researchers, it was found that medical waste segregation at Karunia Sumberrejo Bojonegoro Inpatient Clinic did not meet the standards. Objective : Analyzed the relationship between medical waste segregation and EMA at Karunia Sumberrejo Bojonegoro Inpatient Clinic. Method : The research used an analytical quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. Total sampling technique was employed, and the population consisted of 11 employees, including the head of each unit and employees involved in medical waste management. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires and observations, and analyzed using the Spearman rho test. Result : The research reveals that the Sig. (2- tailed) value is 0.003, which is less than α (0.05), with a correlation coefficient of 0.810 (strong correlation) and a positive correlation direction. Thus, H₁ is accepted, indicating that there is a relationship between medical waste segregation and EMA at Karunia Sumberrejo Bojonegoro Inpatient Clinic. Conclusion : There is a relationship between medical waste segregation and EMA at Karunia Sumberrejo Bojonegoro Inpatient Clinic. The researchers suggest that the clinic should provide separate containers for different types of waste and establish specific policies for implementing EMA.
